Trying Clary alongside Clue

  1. Download Clary. It is free, and tracking in every mode stays free.
  2. Choose your stage. Period, trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum or perimenopause.
  3. Add one date. Your last period or your due date is enough to start. Clary doesn't import data from other apps, so Clue keeps your history until you decide.

Questions

Is Clary a good alternative to Clue?

If you want one app for your cycle, pregnancy, the months after birth and perimenopause, yes. Clary has a baby log, kick counter, contraction timer, birth plan and an Apple Watch app, which Clue doesn't offer. If your focus is cycle tracking backed by published research, Clue has the longer record there.

Is Clary free?

Yes. Clary is free to download and every mode is free to track, including pregnancy and postpartum. Clary Premium ($6.99 a month or $34.99 a year in the US) adds extras such as Clary AI, Partner Access and the Apple Watch app. In Clue, the Conceive and Perimenopause modes and most pregnancy features need Clue Plus ($9.99 a month or $39.99 a year).

Do I need an account to use Clary?

No. Clary works without an account, and your logs stay on your phone unless you turn on a connected feature. Clue requires a free account and keeps your data on its servers in the EU.

Can I move my data from Clue to Clary?

Not yet: Clary doesn't import from other apps. Add your last period or your due date and Clary starts from there, while Clue keeps your history.
